Trouble Downloading?

Some browsers actively block downloads of installation files. While this is great at stopping unwanted, malicious files, it can make downloading legitimate software you've purchased (such as ours) harder than it needs to be. Here are some things to watch for if you are having trouble downloading Topo4GPS:

Google Chrome: If you're using Chrome as your browser and are having difficulties, try this:

• Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu at the top right of the window. .
• In the drop-down menu, choose Settings
• On the Settings page, click Privacy and security
• In the Security section, look for Safe Browsing. Change the setting to No Protection (not recommended) and agree to Turn Off on the subsequent pop-up..
• Close Chrome, open it again, and then try the download again.
• Once the download has completed, be sure to follow the above steps to reactivate the Safe Browsing protection (ie: restore it to either Enhanced Protection or Standard Protection).

Microsoft Edge: If you're using MS Edge as your browser and are having difficulties, try this:

• Open MS Edge.
• In the address bar at the top of your screen, type edge://settings/privacy and press Enter.
• Scroll down the page and find Security.
• Deactivate Microsoft Defender SmartScreen and Block potentially unwanted apps.
• Close Edge, open it again, and then try the download again.
• Once the download has completed, be sure to reactivate both Microsoft Defender SmartScreen and Block potentially unwanted apps.
